Pricking Out

Pricking out is the process of transplanting seedlings from their initial germination tray or bed into individual pots or larger trays to give them more space to grow. This is done when seedlings are large enough to handle but still small, and it helps ensure that each plant has enough room for root development. Pricking out is a common practice in nurseries and greenhouses to promote strong, healthy plants before final planting.
