Grafting

Grafting is a horticultural technique where the tissue of one plant (the scion) is attached to the root system of another plant (the rootstock) so they grow together as a single plant. Grafting is commonly used to propagate plants with desirable traits, such as improved fruit quality, disease resistance, or hardiness. It is widely practiced in fruit tree production and ornamental plant cultivation.
