Spurless Climbing

Spurless climbing is a tree-climbing technique used by arborists that avoids the use of spurs (metal spikes) to ascend a tree. Instead, ropes and harnesses are used to prevent damage to the tree�s bark and cambium layer. Spurless climbing is considered a more tree-friendly method, especially for pruning or working on healthy, living trees, as it minimizes injury to the tree.
